We are an agency with audio at our core. We work with brands who want to do audio properly and help other agencies who don’t have in-house specialists.

We’re Spotify’s creative partner in the UK & North America. Our company client roster also includes Guinness, Audible, Penguin Random House, Cartoon Network and Amazon.

We have our own in-house studios and an amazing team of specialists who work across everything audio:

The person we are looking for

You’re ambitious, brilliant and committed.

Ideally you’ll have experience of working in the audio industry, either at a radio station, audio platform, media agency or similar, or, you’ll have a strong agency background with experience in a creative or digital agency. However, what’s more important is your ability to build a sales strategy that works.

You’ll have a successful demonstrable track record in new business development, and be able to develop a successful business growth plan. You’ll hold a senior position within your current company, be commercially aware and have demonstrable experience in researching, identifying and delivering on new business opportunities.

You’ll be someone with lots of ideas and the passion and drive to develop, shape and make this role your own. Designing and executing a robust and agile business development strategy through industry research, marketing insights and lived experience and knowledge, identifying new revenue streams and delivering continued growth for the business.

You’ll be an excellent communicator at all levels and understand the importance of key stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally, and have extensive B2B sales experience selling up to C-Suite level. You’ll be a successful leader who understands how to build, motivate and manage a high performance sales team delivering on growth results in line with company objectives.

You are a team player and natural leader and love working together to solve problems and get things done. You’ve got their back, and they’ve got yours because the success of the company that you’re part of is really important to you. You’ll be comfortable working within a company that is hybrid working from the office and home.

You’re great at what you do, but that doesn’t mean you’ve stopped trying to develop yourself personally and professionally. You’ll be keen to challenge yourself to constantly be better, even if it’s just a little everyday.

Key Responsibilities

-Design and execute a robust and agile new business strategy

-Developing the sales function and building a team of high performance sales people

-Work closely with the Marketing Director to source the right contacts, target with effective messaging and align each other’s activities

-Identify, evaluate and manage all aspects of the sales process from identifying prospects through to closing the sale

-Create consultative pitches and presentations using industry knowledge, market trends and the unique services and offerings provided by Red Apple Creative

-Build market knowledge and become a visible thought leader within the industry

-Develop effective working relationships with the rest of the business to ensure clear and consistent communication

-Keep internal CRM system up to date

-Represent the company at industry events

-Keep up to date with the latest developments in the ad industry

Essential Requirements

-A love for audio.

-High level of experience in a similar role and specifically in the following areas:

-Strategy design, implementation and execution

-New business sales

-Consultative selling

-Confident in leading pitches and presentations

-Collaboration with Marketing Director to understand and interpret data insights

-Relationship building

-Communication skills


-Problem solving

-A positive mental attitude and growth mindset. We are a close team that works hard and plays hard together

-Must be eligible to work in the UK

-Able to work from home or the office if required (both now and in non-COVID times).

-£70k - £80k depending on experience (OTE £100k - Uncapped Commission)
