Yay for you.

The more freedom you give your audience, the bigger it grows. During its #MakeItAYayDay! campaign, Emmi Caffè asked us to put more ‘yay’ into people’s day. By harnessing the transformative effect of music, we allowed listeners to create their own custom-made playlists.

We created a set of Spotify adverts that challenged listeners to see how ‘yay’ their current playlists were. The audio spot directed users to a custom-designed microsite before inviting them to connect with Spotify. 

Once a playlist was chosen an algorithm would analyse the ‘yay’. Depending on their mood, the user could then adjust a slider and generate a brand-new playlist with the desired amount of pep.
