With privacy a huge talking point across digital platforms, WhatsApp wanted to let people know about their new ‘view once’ feature that puts their users in control of who sees their images or videos. It was our job to communicate the benefits of this feature to users by creating relatable moments.

Using immersive in-playlist audio, we segmentally targeted Spotify users during moments like ‘party’, ‘cooking’, ‘nostalgia’ and ‘gaming’. These audio ads used 3D sound to drop the listener into different scenes and ultimately the sweet, funny, slightly embarrassing moments they’d want to keep between themselves and their loved ones.

We also produced native Sponsored Playlist audio that followed the same moment segments. All audio was translated into German.
